Placement details
Location of placement
Royal Cornwall Hospital, Truro.
Details of Training Programme
Five two week placements are offered over the summer to year 3 students. As well as understanding how the medicines is supplied to inpatients, students will shadow a variety of clinical pharmacists through orthopaedics, surgery, medicine, paediatrics, technical services and cancer. Students will have the opportunity to conduct an audit or QI project under supervision.
